I don't know what it is but Arena makes me 10x angrier than the main game despite having way lower stakes. It's like all the worst parts of Tarkov distilled into a hamster wheel cycle. All you face are faggots running the exact same 3-4 kits (and you KNOW what kits they are already, I don't need to tell you), desync/peeker's advantage out the ass, useless teammates who have the spatial awareness and tacticality of a potato, it feels like trying to play Labs with a team of LFG discord timmies vs. streamers and changs every single game. I wouldn't even call myself a GOOD player but I'm almost always on top of the leaderboard every damn game despite listening to music trying desperately to carry my team.

Kappa is a knowledge check more than anything else, the only quests you could consider actually being difficult are boss quests, TS8 and Psycho Sniper, 90% of Kappa quests are one of the following

The only quests I've struggled with were boss quests (getting to them first), psycho sniper and the guide. if I were BSG what I would do is equalise it all so penetration caps at like 45 for BP (and everything below it is adjusted to match), nerf armour damage by a decent chunk as well and then to compensate so the guns aren't a total meme lower the overheating rate to be about on par with a suppressed 7.62x39/5.45 gat.

This, 9x39mm is actually not that attractive in EFT when you consider all the downsides that only matter in a real raid. It could probably even be argued that the caliber could use a buff in the main game. The combination of how unobtainable high tier 9x39 ammo is with how small the mags are, and the jamming risk of the guns makes for a bad time. Basically it's a gun that does pretty well in 1v1 but sucks against squads. You're gonna run out of ammo, jam, or both.

The buffs that 9x39 could use in eft are more along the lines of making the VSS/VAL a little less expensive. Maybe make PAB9 a little less expensive to craft but I'm not sure. Basically the VAL being 150k for the gun alone...then the mags are crazy expensive, it's not a gun that should cost 250k to run considering what else you can buy at lvl4 traders for around that same price.

NTA but to a certain degree yes. It's great for making you mindful of your gun position in cqb, eg forming a habit to have your aim at head level so when someone pop out at you you're easily spraying their face. But the psychological different in arena is very big compared to eft, in arena the stakes are low and everyone is of course expecting enemies nearby. It's different in EFT in that most of the time you're kind of getting surprised and you have no clue where enemies are. For me, part of the reason my aim isn't that great in EFT is because the high stakes make me so fucking over stimulated that I shake all over the place kek. In arena I'm much cooler. So for me the hurdle is learning to relax, not so much technical aim.

tl;dr if you don't own arena I'd at least wait for a sale. It's not a game changer that will turn you into an EFT god.

I would lave to be able to add neck soft armor and groin flaps to my armor. And you already can add extra protection to certain helmets, so it's not exactly a new mechanic.
