The only way I can see this working is that if there is some sort of dominant Uma gene in the X chromosome, but it is extremely rare, and also there is some gene in the Y chromosome that somehow overrides it. I don't know enough about Uma lore to know if they are rarer than humans or not.
This would also mean that humans and Umas are the same species since they can produce fertile offspring. And since the Uma gene is just part of the overall human genome, they aren't even a distinct subspecies or race.
It also implies that the Uma gene is a recent adaptation, since it is uncommon but must necessarily be dominant. And in several thousand years most human females will be Umas.

Unironically Late/End horses are the best performers in PVP because their skills are cheaper to compensate for the position being riskier. Like, "1,500,000 CC" is End Closer only and costs 120 base to buy the skill, while "Fast Paced" and "Prepared to pass" cost 180 base.

So the average Late/End has 2 or 3 more skills than the average Front/Pace, and since skill triggers are a major factor in score it makes Late/End horses fantastic at ranking up.

The first tip is that the letter grade of the legacies means literally nothing. You only care about the sparks on them, you want as many of the blue stars filled in as possible and should borrow ones with 9 blue across the parent and grandparents until you eventually have some of your own.

generally Top is better for Sprint/Mile or Late/End style runners but if your Power is looking like it will cap or is already high enough while Stamina is lacking then you'd want to pick Bottom instead

Likewise Bottom is better for Medium/Long and Front/Pace since they need more stamina but if for instance you are already running Vodka or have enough Stamina gold skills then BoFA is not that valuable.

But since Bottom also gives you +30 energy then it's also a valid option if you just want to spam more trainings

i think skills are more important than stats for early-mid race
i think they are what decides if you start spurt at 4th or 8th or 16th
