But for those who are less diplomatic there is a Warmode that sets you as PvP and allows you to level through PvP. Not defending UE5 I wish they just switched to the native Classic client as the Stormforge folks shown that it can be done at least with TBC. But there will be an option in the UE version to run the game with original graphics, without the ancient client jank. It still won't support modern Classic addons though. Not great but it will probably still run better than the 3.3.5 client Epoch uses.

I don't think the first raid should be difficult honestly. It was a problem in Season of Mastery making MC harder but having the same loot which pretty much killed the server. Epoch on top of that has MC nerfed gear to ilvl 66.

Unfortunately not only is it very real, once they release it and "iron out all the kinks" they will force everyone to switch over to it, as they will make it so that 1.12 client will no longer work with their server. I hate the 1.12 client but I got it working decently well after a lot of mods, addons and patches. Something tells me even the original graphics setting on the UE client isn't going to work as good, or some addons will break and will never receive updates to fix it.

REALLY wish they just went with the Classic Vanilla client route, especially after the Stormforge folks proved that it was possible to get it running with their TBC Classic client. This was such a strange decision.
