No more Sonic and friends aare heroes against eggman everything should be grey, Sonic is and friends should not be heroes but self interested parties only out for themselves and their personal goals, collaborating when needed, trying to kill each other when a bigger threat isn't in the picture, the actual effects of their conflicts with eggman should be shown off more, like polluted water, destroyed surroundings, populace being dead or turned into robots slaves for never ending construction on whatever eggman wants next, if they're going to keep Sage she should have a massive part in this and treat it as a game in a child like manner at best or absolutely no empathy or sympathy for it. When destorying robots as Sonic or one of his allies ditch the saved animals instead ditch them entirely or show their remains after the bot is destroyed.

with all the shipwars on /sthg/ lately i've been thinking about shadouge and realizing it's not a great ship. it's not exactly bad but it's very uninteresting because shadow and rouge don't bounce off each other. when rouge is with shadow her treasure hunting/emerald obsession gets ignored, so does her free nature. rouge is someone who gets what she wants through seduction but shadow doesn't react to it so there's no use for it. she's turned into shadow's coworker and it's so boring.
