We finally have enough water 5* to make a full party, and they're all different roles. She's also our first meguca who can apply the Break Gauge Reduction debuff, which makes up for her lack of defense debuffs. She's more of an offensive debuffer, meant to deal damage with her Water Blade debuff. It's interesting because unlike other debuffers, that's not an ailment so she's not gated by ailment resistances against bosses.

Overall, she's probably not as good as other 5* debuffers but she tries to fill multiple roles at once: She helps breakers with her break gauge reduction debuff, she helps attackers with her 30% defense debuff and she deals damage herself with her water blade debuff.
She probably needs to be used in a speed party, along Mami and/or Moemura, to make full use of her water blade debuff if it's any good damage wise. On paper, the damage seems good since she has 2.9k ATK and the scaling is at 100% on her skill and 160% on her special.

Not really underwhelming but not as impactful as a 5* forest attacker.
Madoka is like Doppel Iroha but synergises better with Swimsuit Mami and isn't really a game changer as far as healers go. Even with the lack of 5* healer, you can probably manage any content with Kaede and she'll work better since you'll get ascensions from her being in the standard pool.
Sayaka has a break depletion gauge debuff which is unique to her for now, allows for faster breaks and potentially parties without breakers. Besides that her defense down debuff is underwhelming compared to the other 5* debuffers and her damage isn't going to be that impactful. Just like Madoka, she's the only water option for that role but you'll manage without her just fine.
Mami is just better because attacker element variety has been important so far and forest was a blind spot since launch, Nanaka wasn't really that good to bring on without proper planning in most of the harder content. Tower 50 being weak to forest, light and void is particularly tough if you missed Madokami as she was the only 5* attacker option. People have still managed to clear without her, but it required one of two specific parties, with ascensions.

I'm a bit sad on Madoka being a healer since my Kaede is already at A3, I was hoping she'd be a buffer instead. Sayaka looks like your classic jack of all trades, master of none kind of unit. The break gauge debuff looks interesting but surely they'll start giving that ability to other units in the future.

Magireco was under 500k in monthly revenue for most of its lifetime in Japan. I wouldn't compare reco and exedra's first months though because reco's launch was particularly bad and their revenue only spiked for PMHQ banners. At its peak around 2019, I believe it was estimated to be around 1.5m.
NA started making around 500k to 300k a month then quickly went down to 150k.
I still wouldn't trust any of these estimations though. At the time there were more sources than Sensor Tower and some had very different numbers. Just play the game and enjoy it for what it is.
