I think Madison would be the strongest in battle due to giving mermaids vanguard deployment, but Clio would have better empire building abilities. It would really come down to weather Madison can get to Clio before she reaches peak strength or not.
Meanwhile, Ash would just be spreading corruption and plagues in their territories the whole time, just being a menace.

Im not sure if other units are good for this but Corsairs with Handbows are an extremely good pursuit unit, if they're in melee combat they can still fire so when attacking a routing enemy you can be in combat with one while shooting the other not sure if other units can do that

Saltspite was fairly easy to deal with as the ally charged in first and took the brunt of the damage. Harkon wasn't too difficult either.
I didn't even get close to fighting Cylostra herself lmao. The allied reinforcements dealt with her and most of her army. The only parts of it I had to fight were 2 syreens, a mourngul, and and animated hulk.
Noctilus' army was a cunt to deal with, he was dropping pit of shades on my peasants and rushing me with a necrofex colossus and fucking depth guard.
I destroyed his army and ran away from him and let him disintegrate. Oh and Count Noctilus' defeat is dogshit. Is there a LL defeat trait worse than his?

I feel like there's more chance that they get whatever that slopstudio that made Rome Remastered to remaster Med 2 (since it's basically rome reskinned) than make a med 3.
40k is such a huge undertaking and the news that ww1 was cancelled but that the tech they made would be used in 40k makes you think that whole team probably just moved to 40k. Makes far more sense to focus on getting 40k TW out the door as soon as possible and then leave a DLC team on it (how they've done it every other time before). Then they move the bulk of the main team onto the next historical title (maybe med 3 considering med 2 remaster would drive hype)

I find myself defaulting to DW Chosen, Halberd Chosen and Skullcrushers, because those charges and mulching make me drip.
I want to try Tzeentch - so far my experience was just using Halberds of Tzeentch. I tried Nurgle but I didn't vibe with either Festus or Tamurkhan, so that's out of the way, and I'm not going to try Slaanesh until the DLC.

Those and multiple other cults existed in the elven pre-Sundering society. Most of them were sponsored by Morathi. Malekith was fighting against them but they kept returning and wrecking havoc. He eventually decided to use them to his own benefits. Those cults were also fighting against themselves, each one trying to become the dominating one until the one led by Hellebron won.
For those interested in the High-Dark Elf lore I really recommend The Sundering trilogy. It's like the Horus Heresy for elves (minus the Wood Elves, because nobody cares and they weren't really around back then) but instead of being 60+ books it's neatly packed in three plus some short stories.

This mark reduces his leadership against you, supplies you with your exclusive ressource of devotees and increases your grip on the faction. It can be good to send a few agents in the wild.
Campaign wise your building strive off low order and you got good dictacts to lower order
