The illusions should override the druid forms when you use one so you won't have to worry about being a crummy owl all the time. There might still be a bug with the cash shop illusions where using it while in your form will cancel the visual look of it and give you your original appearance that's your thing

Raid gear is too easy to get, you can literally sit in FMC raids doing 100 dps and collect best in slot gear, why spend 500g on some craftable shit?

With Season of Discovery sunsetting, we've seen a surge in demand for Classic+ realms. Nordanaar has recently hit over 10000 concurrent players and even started to see occasional queues again.

With the release of Scars of the Past on August 15, we're expecting another natural population spike — as always happens with a major patch, and we want to make sure that Nordanaar is not overcrowded.

I have been ganked about 3 dozen times, whenever I try to read a quest and engross myself in the lore some DK nigger swoops out of the sky and death grips me away and kills me, what a shitass class btw, you can fucking pull me from 30 yards and then hit me with a 90% slow that lasts longer than it takes to kill me?
I don't know what I was expecting but so far all of the quests have been the same as in Vanilla, go here and kill 15x of this, go here and grab this then return woooow you're so good at this please do it again 3 times.
My effort to get some good gear before going through the portal was wasted, new questing greens mog my old dungeon blues and purples.
I don't know if this is TBC or just Warmane but I feel like the mobs in TBC move a lot faster than the mobs in Vanilla so kiting feels quite clunky and will take some getting used to.
I have only done about 10 quests and I am almost level 61, I feel like I am levelling way too fast even though this is a 1x server. I feel like when I'm done with Outlands I will be level 75 or something and will enter Northrend overleveled.

The idea of the player being a mercenary for the other faction stood until the final hours of beta.

Furyprot is still the 1% top end optimized spec but defensive tactics is a new meta that is almost as good while not sacrificing all of the survivability that makes warriors even worth using over paladins or druids. I played Turtle as a rogue for a few days, I just cleared Ragefire Chasm at lvl 16 with randos. Here's my opinion on Turtle WoW.

The gameplay is slow, boring, doesn't respect your time and doesn't reward it either. My rogue got shit gear from quests, I literally had to buy better daggers from a merchant because that's how shit the rewards were. I used tents whenever I saw someone set one up and I still struggled reaching a level equal to the monsters I had to kill for quests very often. Monsters dropping their quest item 20% of time when I need 8 from two different mobs. Pulling more than one mob is almost a death sentence. Bag space is limited. Leveling professions is slow and tedious. Having to go back to class trainers all the time is annoying. Quests sending you across the region to talk to someone, go back and do it again for shit rewards (if any). Flight masters too sparsely located, why the fuck doesn't Brill have one? Corpse running from across half the region at 100% speed is incredibly long and tedious.

Now for the rogue specifically. Energy regen is super slow and in ticks of 20 every 2 seconds = slow, boring gameplay. Everything costs energy, even kick for some reason. Sprint on a 4 minute cd. Losing combo points when the monster dies, can't redirect combo points either. No aoe. Stealth is super slow and on a 10s cd. I saw the changes to subtlety making it a """support""" spec, what were the devs thinking exactly? Assassination not even getting a fan of knives, or mutilate, or a cut to the chase, nothing. Just good old poison (hello resistances), bleeds, slice and dice and envenom while combat is having actual fun and can aoe with blade flurry without needing to maintain a list of buffs and debuffs like assassination need to compete in dps with combat and other dps classes. Sap breaking stealth. Evasion giving only 50% dodge on a 4 minute cd.

Now for the dungeon I did. It was an exceedingly slow, boring run. Loot was shit too. What's the appeal?

Cont. Compared to Ascension, I reached lvl 70 in a few days sitting in Orgrimmar and spamming dungeons with tanks doing 95% of the damage. I spent like 4 hours re-rolling spells and talents and only got stealth and poisons after 200 rerolls. Even focusing on rogue abilities I can't find what a good build would look like. What's the point of prestige anyway, if I can't even lock the spells and talents I wanna keep in my new run? Am I really limited to 3 cards and 3 golden cards and pray to RNG I find the rest of my core abilities?

I don't have anyone to PvP with now because no one is traveling on the same axis as me. Again, it killed the social aspect of the game and resulted in the world feeling incredibly small and lonely. Flying was a mistake and only a retard such as yourself would bother defending it.

I feel like I've been just left hanging and chasing the end of a race that doesn't exist any more.
When Classic launched, it was probably the most fun I've had in any game. It was amazing to slowly carve my way through the world, meet people so we can help each other out, then part ways to possibly meet again one day.
My ultimate goal was to kill C'thun in Ahn'Qiraj. That was the coolest raid, and the coolest boss. I didn't give a shit about Kel'Thuzad and Naxxramas. I just wanted to clear AQ40. I finally found a decent guild to raid with all through BWL, but when we got to AQ, we got to the Princes, and tried for like three hours before people started to leave the group and the guild.
Eventually, the guild merged with another one to get carried. It was a loot council guild (hard pass for me) and if I wanted to raid with my own guild, I'd have to be in the newbie tier of loot where I can only request one piece to be considered for instead of the normal three.
I wanted TBC to be different. I'd either start my own guild, or join one with a similar mindset, and go all in on grinding out what I needed. I was beyond hyped.
Then they announced the level 58 level boost, and deluxe edition with a mount included. Instantly killed all interest, and in my anger, I deleted all my characters and uninstalled.

So I've just got to ask, is there any hope for me to get my TBC adventure I've been craving all this time? If it's a free server, I don't mind a bit of cash shop shenanigans. (really putting the nig in shenanigans) The Stormforge servers seemed like what I needed, but they always came out at a bad time when I wasn't in the right mindset for that kind of long term massive grind. And worse still, they always petered out after just a couple months. maybe because everyone knows it'll just be erased in less than two years.

I just want to go home again, and play the game properly.
