it kinda feels like playing blood DK if blood DK had to play at twice the APM it already does. extremely reliant on haste, needs a minimum of like 15-20% haste just to function because its entire defensive profile is based around a 4.5 second armor buff that takes 3 GCDs worth of generators to activate, so you need to be hitting 3 generator spells every 4.5 seconds to keep the buff from falling off, and if it ever does fall off it becomes extremely noticeable and you'll start taking massive damage immediately.

also like blood DK it plays around a "special zone" mechanic similar to blood DKs death and decay, consecrate is a small, short duration aoe magic damage zone that provides significant defensive buffs while you stand within it, so maintaining the zone and being mindful of your positioning in it is key

has naturally high block chance and native spell block to smooth out incoming magic damage, and can boost its block chance to 90%+ frequently with certain talents.

also has a ton of built in cooldown reduction in its kits, talents like "when you do X, lower the cooldown of Y by 2 seconds" so that your defensive cooldowns are constantly up.

has probably the best or second best range of transmogs in the game

so overall, its good, has a ton of utility and emergency buttons, and potent anti spellcasting, but can feel very button spam heavy and can seem unforgiving if you dont maintain your buffs properly.
