It sounds like you've never used the card and have no clue what you're talking about. Her energy reduction + training bonus + 4 free speed on training don't get her to as many stats per training, sure, but the many bonus turns she saves you more than make up for it. When you can fit 1 more training in for each rest you do, that's free stats. Not having to rest/wit train during Summer Camp because she singlehandedly keeps your energy high and reduces your risk is a huge boon.

I think your problem is spreading your trainings too much. You don't have the time to allow yourself to do that. Focus on your main stat (speed) and make sure to train enough stamina to reach the minimal threshold for the distance you need. Power should come naturally by training speed, but for sprint/mile you probably will still want to add some power cards because power training also gives free stamina.
Everything gets calculated based on these base numbers, the difference between lv1 and lv5 is almost 1.5x times higher, it should be obvious why you want to upgrade them as fast as possible.

yeah wow hitting the 100 cap on speed gain is so much better than 4 rainbows and tazuna which will be around 80 and cost half the energy so you can do it again next turn. Oh yikes, you actually failed your +100 because it had risk on it? Wouldn't know about that, Tazuna reduces the risk by so much that I never need to skip a top tier training when it spawns.
