Has anyone ever obtained Vishnu/the avatar totem in Persona 1. If so, given that you can only hold 12 spell cards at once, and you need to obtain 141 or whatever, do you need to use them in fusion or can you simply discard them once you've gotten them?

Persona games releasing first and then having a separate extended edition is far better than getting dlc because they could take feedback for the whole game and improve it. You will never get cool stuff like kichijoji, aigis link, or okina city again as that stuff is midgame. They previously took the whole game and expanded on it, now it will be a dlc at the end in the future. This is my prediction.
Also Sega will fuck you over with expansion passes like they did with the answer dlc now, forcing you to pay for shit you dont want to justify the price. At least with dlc in rereleases it was meaningless shit like costumes or personas.

Unironically what they should do is write and design the DLC during the game's development and cut out post-game content entirely. That would kill two birds with one stone. Maybe Sega won't do that though because it's too risky, these games are still fairly niche and can't guarantee EA numbers.

-New mementos quests
-A bunch of extra cutscenes and animated scenes
& thats just what i could think of off the top of my head.
I dont have any confidence at all that theyll do any of that with a dlc.
