In a few decades, the only "jobs" left will probably be in healthcare, retail, and education. And even those latter two are slowly being phased out by automation and AI. More and more retail checkers are being replaced by automated self checkout. Stocking is in the process of being automated; stores have tech that scans shelf spaces to see what's in stock and what's selling, to do the analysis side of ordering so that a person doesn't have to. At this point there's just the need for humans to deliver the goods and place them on the shelves. Nobody up top actually cares about having people there to help grandma find the spices on aisle 12. And in education, if we're being real, most people only care about the human element because they want a babysitter to watch their kid. But when they wanna learn something, they'll just ask chatgpt. Is it accurate? Not always. But nobody seems to care about that. Shit is bleak.
Hell, even in medical, in a lot of the analysis side of it (like analyzing labs or an x-ray or running a diagnostic), they're trying to incorporate AI there as well.
