I figured out why wow retail is kind of a failure. People don't like playing games where they can't be at the spearhead of power. It's like capping yourself at Green items. It wouldn't hold your interest. Blizz tried to recreate Garrison fishing parties with the Dalaran area but it just wasn't the same.

I do 3k on multiple characters across every role every season (I am not claiming this is impressive but everyone talks of M+ horror through the context of pug keys and never pushing title) through solely pugging and the reality is every horror story listed really does happen but they also happen maybe one out of every 15-20 keys.
