I just wanted to make this post so that in case anyone gets involved with him and they happen to look up his name in the archive, they'll find this post.

This man is diagnosed with ASPD - Antisocial Personality Disorder. More commonly known as sociopathy. It means he doesn't feel empathy, he doesn't know right from wrong, and he never feels sorry for the things he does wrong. This caused countless issues in my relationship with him which lasted from 2022 until late 2024, at which point I dumped him when he started yelling "KILL YOURSELF" at me over and over, over some nonsense meaningless fucking argument. I then asked him if he truly meant it when he yelled that at me and he said that yes, he wholeheartedly did. Prior to this I had taken tons of verbal abuse and threats from him over the course of the relationship, but that was the last straw at which point the feelings I had for him were overcome by the little self-respect I had left for myself.

For the longest time I thought that despite his mental illness, even he deserved love. That even he could grow to care and feel something for someone else. I was wrong.

Don't get involved with this person. He's obese and a coward so he's not going to actually do anything violent to you (despite his tough-guy talk about how he's a "badass drug dealer who plays russian roulette with his friends"). But he is extremely mentally abusive as well as verbally abusive, and just a trash piece of shit person with trash piece of shit values.

His background is that he's originally from tumblr, which is why he holds a lot of old-school tumblrite views, nowadays he gets his opinions and world-news from left-twitter and the streamer Hasan Piker.

It's about fixing the wave in a state where you can farm safely, while the enemy has to take one or two risks. It makes it harder for the enemy to push, and will pressure them about what to do or whether they are going to get ganked or not. Even if your jungler doesn't come, the gank threat is a factor the enemy laner has to take into consideration; meanwhile your only worry is if the enemy comp has diving potential but that is champ dependent.
In midlane it's a bit tricky because, even if you freeze very close to your tower, most of the lane roster can poke (and a few others can kill) you even under your tower. In midlane ranged vs melee matchup it would still help to freeze the lane close to your tower, for obvious reasons. Still for midlane, then you have the factor of roaming and helping the jungler, so you have more options to consider when managing the wave.
In my opinion, it overall depends on how you want to play your lane: if you want to play aggressively, then you push; if you want to play safe, then you freeze.

in a devils advocate kind of way I just wanna say that minor skill differences are omega amplified in league right now (an really been for a long time), where if your top lane is like D4, and hes up against a d1/low masta (really the gap isn't numerically large) theres a good chance he gets astrogapped. When I played dota right at the start of their ranked system id be 5.2k and id have 4.3k players in my game and the skill difference wasn't really apparent for the first few minutes of the game. I don't know how strict the matchmaker ultimately is and concessions in skill differential on offrole but id have a guess they consider autofill jungle no different from main jungle from a matchmaking PoV (and for a second lets be honest but a gold toplaner offroling to jungle is not a big deal but a challenger toplaner offroling to challenger jungling is really bad). Basically a big issue with the matchmaking is actually to do with the game itself and its design towards snowballing, stuff like role queue also makes knowledge gaps worse.

Its significantly easier to deny cs while their tower is up (its safer being in between 1st and 2nd turret than 2nd and 3rd). If im like thanos olaf against kayle I wouldn't want people taking my tower because I can just sit between t1 and t2 and proxy and kill kayle every time she tries to walk to lane.

You should probably also use heralds for t2s not t1s personally.
