/kfg/ was a decent but very lucky export, but this was /vg/'s main problem when copying it. They ran longball like 98% of their run and refused to ever switch off of it, and I'm not sure they even ran the same longball sliders as /kfg/ or did any of the same management changes that /kfg/ did.

Copying a winning VGL team and attempting to translate it into 4cc ruleset isn't a bad idea by any means, but it didn't seem like the managers had any idea how to livemanage the export.

/cm/ are mostly just the 4-4-2 version of championship /vg/ from all the way back. just on basically-auto with default CSC sliders. they did actually make one big playstyle change from spring to summer (SS is a poacher now, was a creative playmaker) and their bench midfielders are all stupid but the guts are an export that got 3rd-1st in back to back cups and can run like five different formations competently

If we remove the skits that's a 6 minute intro which isn't much longer than others we've had but it still feels weirdly paced. For example I don't get why it shows the "lore" with the stained glass and then the book is only used to explain the rules, when they could have just put both together, having the lore in the book and show the stained glass art (which is really nice, don't get me wrong) in the same room. It would have been also cool to incorporate the team logos into the flying horse scene, like having her fly through them at first and then have the actual scene where we see the constellations for the other elite winners (I thought this was a really cool idea, Ved's old intros used to have some small special acknowledgement for previous winner and it's something it's cool to see back). I think I'm just a bit tired of the team logos flying in, it's a bit repetitive since it's the same every cup. Having two different highlight reels also really kills the pacing, I would remove one of them alltogether, which one depends on how masturbatory the /mlp/ guys are feeling I guess. (cont)
