It is absolutely normal for one tricked heroes to have an inflated WR% because it would follow that the people playing that hero have a good grasp of their heroes strength and weaknesses.

My point is that both Wanda and Magik are one tricked. Magik has an extremely high WR% for a one tricked hero, literally top 3 across ALL ranks. Anon, the bog standard skill based matchmaking system used in all games apart from like XDefiant isn't random. It uses people's matchmaking score to match people up of as close to equal score as possible. Sometimes they also factor in behavior score like if someone has been reported a bunch or abandoned a ton.
As stated, the biggest thing fucking this up are stacks. Like they massively fuck things up so hard people have no idea to the degree it does.
Trying to match up teams of say a 2+3+1 vs 4+1+1 stacks so the match is balanced is basically impossible. It could basically be a Bronze+Gold,+Platinum, Bronze, GM, + Diamond on just a single team because the matchmaker tries to average out the matchmaking scores within a stack, then you do this for multiple stacks on both sides. Then the Bronze player might decide to say they will play Adam while the GM plays Strange. Then they're fighting a Celestial Black Panther with a Silver Rocket. Can you start to see how matches can easily get messed up with stacks?

This is why the changes to stacks on friday is a massively good change, despite a lot of people on social media whining about it while ALSO saying that Netease should "fix their matchmaking". It's crazy.
