The "Meet The Sniper" music files from the recent leak is really interesting to listen to as you can listen to the process of how they worked with the Magnum Force theme, first directly re-fitting the originial theme, then making a rough prototype remake, then finally creating a polished original Mangum Force remake that's fit for Meet The Sniper.

It's a remake by them that's just different enough from the original so it's actually fair, AFAIK they make these remakes/sound-alikes so that they don't need to pay royalties, just take the ideas and melodies from a track but make it different enough.

Just like how "More Gun" took inspiration from "Someone Else's Song" by Wilco, and "Right Behind You" did from "Watergate" by Hans Zimmer ETC.

There's a non-zero chance that this medigun model was likely used as a placeholder for the Quick-Fix before Valve made their own design.
There's also the fact that Valve's "Clinical Trial" set that came out with Über Update has it's syringe gun named Overdose, and the syringe gun from the set that Schwaben Charger comes from also is called Overdose, can't be a coincidence.

Its ridiculous that valve will never add new weapons or change the game's balance. What's their problem? They act like the game is perfectly balanced and can never be touched lest that precious balance is upset. Like they're okay with adding a million maps that are unbalanced and play like shit but adding a new side grade melee weapon or reverting weapons like the Bison to their old stats is just too far.
