I somehow got on to the Slasher route and I'm just wondering at the disconnect between how the SDU fights off the best of the planet's defenders and yet one chonky guy in a suit is cutting them all to bits. Why even bother harnessing the planet's power when one power saw is all that's needed? I cannot believe the fighting skills honed from mortal combat don't help at all. And does the class armor not deflect anything?

They can’t fight back at all and she got cornered, didn’t really seem that unbelievable to me. Plus as far as I’ve seen from the prequel novel and game she’s only ever used an axe and she also taught herself (specifically mentions in the novel no knowledge of martial arts). If it helps any as the killer Takumi does get super human strength. Mentioned later
