I like both games, and Snowbreak has it because it makes less money. They give their fans what the fans want, whereas Nikke can (literally) afford to putz around making blatant mistakes and still retain its whalebase.
Hell, Snowbreak's skins are all upfront paid. No gacha involved. But they're also skins for full 3d models and come with costume parts and detailed scenes. It also has less girls overall, so they get more focus. In Nikke, we only get brief focuses for a few girls ever.
