I literally started playing for Mayano and I still adore everything about her. Her little rivalry with Brian(who's also in my top 10) and being taken under Hishiama's wing just so she can beat Brian's ass was great fun.

Nature, Tachyon and King all grew on me really fast even though I didn't care that much about them before. Nature's desire to finally win for once and call herself the main character of her story; Tachyon wanting to reach her limits as an Umamusume despite knowing that she could break at any moment; and King wishing simply to be recognized as more than just a nepo baby, and to stand out amongst the other members of the golden generation... They were all pretty moving in my opinion.

I actually didn't like Taishin initially. She seemed like a cunt when I did Ticket's career for the first time, but after rolling her out of a lucky tenner and experiencing her own career, she turned out to be a lot more complex than just "girl who's an asshole for the sake of being an asshole," and now she's one of my favorites.

SR Air Groove is more consistent imo, Oguri has too many hints and it dilutes the fuck out of the pool plus it makes getting all the event chains for Super Creek and Kitasan harder.
