It seemd last launch that people don't understand the concept of a queue on a game server. Its not like when we line up at your moms and all get our turn eventually. There is a limited number of spaces on the server, even after all these changes. If its full and you're in the queue, someone has to leave for you to get on. If you aren't there when it launches, you will literally never get on. The queue won't ever go down, no one will ever leave and make a space for you. If you see a queue its over, just close it down and uninstall.

The eye opening moment of realizing wow vanilla quests are dogshit is when I read Elwynn's forest section in the original WoW RPG book.

It explains the dangerous wildlife and the general shit state of the zone by a Dusk wood corruption and the fact it's a war-torn battlefield that orcs razed to the ground in the first war, and the forest has regressed back into wilderness.

I rly don't know what class/spec to pick considering I'll be mostly playing casual pvp (bgs) and wpvp (ganking zugzugs in their cities and leveling hubs) - might dip my toes into pve but if you actually have to try and raidlog instead of pugging I'm not that interested.

Paladin seems gay af on this server being a glorified TBC pala with focus on shockadin/holy spell power dmg gear.

Feral seems fun but I find leveling lw/skinning extremely unfun. Would alchemy/herb be viable in PVP? I could also try balance but I probably won't for the same reason I won't pick shaman.

Shaman was fun in TBC and having QoL totem calls/recalls from Wotlk sounds great, the problem is that both enh and ele shamans in TBC are haste starved specs and devs confirmed back in Feb that there won't be any haste as a stat on Epoch. Ele shaman would feel bad af to play without haste, enh shaman can live without it in PVP but I don't like TBC enh with its forced 1h dual wield tree.

Not interested in warrior (overdone, played them since end of TBC / Wotlk till Dragonflght).

I have been consistently enthused to play this but that fucking post changed my mind. It was one thing that they were so horrible with communication but then turning around and saying the community is affecting your mental health is just too much. Post a fucking update about the game and people wouldn't feel the need to constantly shitpost as much. This whole shitty launch has impacted thousands of people's mental health.
