Bokgak Kim in MD is so cancer (his last stand/ TCTB v2 at low hp). Either he dies like a chump due to extreme damage of your team (and you do not get to engage with his mechanics) or you get him to low hp, he's 45 sp and lost all clashes like a wimp but your team lacks burst damage. Now he will use single target TCTB. Only counterplay is to kill him before he kills you (or else he will become immortal). Who ever thought giving the unbreakable coin fixed damage (that is lethal to the target if you plan to kill kim) even when breaking is a fcking ass. It's a free heal to Kim and basically makes the fight unwinnable (he will get 999 resentment next turn or so and one shot the next targets and free heal) if you don't have burst damage in the final portions of the fight. This is the only fight in this game with such dog shit mechanics that winning 95% of the fight overwhelmingly and becoming unwinnable just because you lack dps. Guess KJH just wants to wank the Korean Self insert in game to be absurdly strong when certain conditions align.

put it into perspective: limbus has exactly 2 types of things to roll for. 3 if you include the entirely cosmetic announcers. let's look over at the persona gacha, which recently dipped into overwhelmingly negative reviews. there, you have to roll for characters, weapons, unique sub-stats on 'artifacts' that require rare resources to reroll
in limbus, it takes maybe a few days to level an ID to max, which is pretty bad. in the persona gacha, it exactly two days to level a character to a level cap with your daily energy. then the level cap is raised and you have to do it again. as well, you have to level up weapons, skills, those artifacts from before, and your protagonist's personas. all of these require their own resource to level, and characters and weapons need an entirely different resource to up the cap.
this is a gacha game that only barely has pvp, by the way, in the form of ranking boss clears for bonus rewards. pvp in gachas bring an entirely different set of quality drops.

what i am trying to communicate is that you are overreacting to small issues in a game that is unironically superior to almost all of its peers in basically every way. is the shard delay something to worry about? no. it doesn't matter. is the content being slow something that deserves multiple people shitting up the thread? probably not, but i acknowledge that some people are too invested into these properties.

at the end of the day it entirely depends on what you're looking for in a game
limbus is genuinely a bad gacha. there's little to no customization, you don't even have a nickname. it's generous and doesn't require a huge time investment, but there's not much to really sink your teeth into. it hardly justifies being a live service game as it's purely singleplayer (with the exception of lending units - big fucking deal, game is easy) and everyone only cares about the story

compare to uma musume. it's way more stingy with resources but the horse customization with inheritance, skills etc is huge, and it has pvp, clans with ratings and rewards, the ability to use other people's cards and parent horses in your own runs which rewards them. there's genuinely just more to do in uma musume, but it eats up your time like crazy and the progress is slow unless you whale and there's a TON of rng even if you do

completing all the dailies in uma musume probably takes about as much time as doing the weekly mirror dungeon run (unless you lose ASAP on purpose) and don't forget you can just convert your energy into modules in limbus and log off if you don't want to do anything in the game

That's the only possibility I see. Does Faust need to be near Dante for the alternate Fausts to share knowledge? Based on the actual implications of the group call, there MUST be a universe where Faust is an Arbiter. That would mean Faust has a direct undisturbed link to the deepest secrets of the Head and their methods, ideals, systems and mechanisms. Unless the opposite is true and Faust Arbiter doesn't exist until Dante imagines it so.
