More focus on ironing out the little things and the coding.
The launch content for this "game" was probably done many many months ago.

BF3 was a massive scale up from Bad Company 2. Everything from the engine update to the visual toning to the doubling of the player count.

But I don't disagree on BF3 being a mess in beta and at launch.
BF3 is seen through rosey colored glasses for zoomers who conflate the marketing hype for the game and the final product a year later with the launch game, which was a huge mess. Maybe not as huge of a mess as launch 4, but still, a mess all the same, and WAY too rush-oriented.
The funniest thing is most zoomers are nostalgic for the shit version of the game on Xbox 360 too.

NTA but yes, HD2 has recoil and then a ergo-dynamics stat that slows down the movement of weapons between where you are aiming, and where the gun is pointed. So you always have the same mouse/controller movement but it takes longer for larger weapons to move.

Its really good, and makes the guns feel like a gun instead of just a magic part of your eye sight.

Increase the amount of suppression LMGs give out. I want to dump 200 rounds down a stretch of the map and have everyone suppressed forever. Total suppression. Make them too scared to move. I want them to feel it's easier to just redeploy away from me than for them to try and challenge me.

This anti aircraft gun is one of the best and most powerful emplaced weapons they've ever put in a battlefield game. You can singlehandedly prevent an effect defense of C and demolish the attack heli at the same time.

Liberation Peak is so utterly broken. NATO has the biggest advantage. Pax Armata doesn't have a chance if C is capped to push out since they need to go through D all the way up to B. I've seen Pax do it all, hold E, D, B, F for almost 2 minutes and STILL lose with 200 ticket difference

The secret is that the good spots are usually the first thing everybody looks at and make you a sitting duck for decent snipers. Play around the outskirts of a fight and use headshot angles and normal cover while moving constantly. Strafe around even while you're aiming until you're ready to shoot because it makes it much harder for an enemy sniper to headshot you. Being closer also means you'll be more consistent because headshotting someone moving is much more reliable and even if you tag someone and they get to cover then you've put a lot of pressure on them for your team.

why did games go away from photogrammetry like in battlefront and bf1? that shit was so nice with smooth edges. I hate the cartoony sharp edges and color pallettes we got with bf5 and later. bf1 and battlefront still look amazing.

I'm saying there's no balance with open weapons. Everyone being able to use ARs makes carbines and low ammo LMGs pointless because they're just ARs but slightly worse. They're things that make sense in a system where ARs are not universal but not when they are. Or the opposite way, imagine if the scorpion in BF4 was universal, it would completely invalidate crap like the FAMAS.

I think the nu-Galil might be my favorite gun so far. Despite the game classifying it as a midrange AR, I find it's really fucking good up close and has a tight enough hitfire to barrel stuff someone around a door.
