Viconia is a drow, there's no such thing as "good" drow: thus, she is one of the main reason the whole plot of BG3 takes place, sending Shart to her mission to retrieve the artifact.

I don't mind how Larian used the old BG characters, Jaheira and Minsc are a fine addition to the main cast and are threated with a fair amount of respect. Sarevok plays a major part in Orin's story, and in Act 3 there's a few nods to past games.

And when you do go to the brothel, her response to Halsin's interjection is written in such a way that establishes that she's already been fantasizing about having sex with him for an extended period of time before you ask. Back then when I was first investigating these allegations, I truly believed those things I said.
