I say this with all sincerity: This game (and most comp FPS games) would be instantly, notably better if they made snipers heavily restricted in number ala vehicles, or just removed entirely. They don't play the objective. They frequently sit somewhere they can't be feasibly attacked unless you're also a sniper. They don't want to play the game, they just want to jerk off to "insane headshot" clips. Each team should have at most 2 snipers at any given time max.

I am not joking snipers only bring down the fun for everyone else around them, on both teams. If you are a sniper main you are a tremendous faggot and I hate you with every fiber of my being, yes I'm mad.

2042 seems to be capable of crashing my entire PC. Warning to anybody curious about playing it. I found others online saying the same thing happened to them. Stuttering issues were pretty bad too even with DX12 enabled and near lowest settings. Lots of others online warning about that as well. I'm pretty sure the stuttering happens for everybody (happens on 4080's) but lots of people probably don't notice because they're retarded. The BF6 beta ran like shit for me too, it would hold near any framerate I set for it but the stuttering was too brutal. RDR2, Battlefield V and Fallout 4 and shit all run flawlessly on near max settings with Lossless Scaling tripling the framerate.

The only real tip I can give is to use spawn beacons to constantly spawn behind enemy lines. I swear people are blind to them and sometimes ones in plain sight stay active the entire game

Unc gamer here (32yr old). Am I missing something or do a lot of the weapons just suck dick? 2nd AR feels like trash in comparison to the first especially since the first will have lots of attachments by then. The 2nd LMG is alright but doesn't feel as good IMO, good accuracy though. The DMRs don't feel powerful enough in my opinion for the trade off of the sniper rifle one tap. Especially when fighting against ARs/SMGs/LMGs all in medium to close quarters its easy to lose to the full auto.

Copium or skill needed? I find I don't do too bad no matter what class or how I play, I get near top my team very often all while capping areas/etc. But I feel like "locked in" to using these same shitty weapons. Full game will need WAY more weapons to be fun.

Fellow unc gamer and I think you're missing where to aim to start your spray. Once figured out roughly where I should start my spray and got used to where my bullets were going to land it got a lot better. M433 is pretty goated but you have to run tons of higher tier attachments. The 288E is better by default but kinda sucks until you can get one of the better scopes on it. Spend some time in the firing range, swapping attachments around until you find something that works with how you control recoil. Stats are kinda misleading because how you change handling and recoil can sometimes not gel with how your gamer instincts have developed. "Better" barrels or foregrips might cause the gun to pull sideways or something and not be as predictable.

Or just pick Support, slap on LMG, and dakka.

I wouldn't call it overpowered. it does mid damage and has almost no recoil and spread. that mid damage basically forces you to go for headshots up close or you will lose majority of your fights.
