Well, slash is still the hardest team in the game to play. Partially because Hanying's a clunky badly designed mess, but now there's also additional difficulty of figuring out exactly how to split Vergil's damage to pass the most amount of waves, while still having enough orbs left to pre-charge next rotation.
It's good that despite rotation itself being fixed, there's still flexibility similar to old solo CW. And at least now slash actually gets good score for the effort you have to put in.
Burn, on the other hand, is as linear as it could possibly get, the most min-maxing you can get out of it is figuring out precise timings for Nanami hold, and even that barely affects anything.
Feels like Dante got the short end of a stick here, but it is what it is, and more Nanami is always good. We'll see what burn gets for amp, for now Vera's just a qte bot.

Activate matrix when she's in that mode where the sword bar starts depleting, then hold dodge. Her weapon gives you matrix automatically after entering that mode. So theoretically you don't need but realistically for consistency you do.

Yeah I got similar number on my first run. I'm not sure if you can optimize it very much so, you're just limited by Dante having no flexibility at all. Nanami at least you can move around her ults a bit, but still not much. I feel like good dv splits is the best you can really do to get higher scores in burn.

I think my nanami rotations could've been better as I was literally just guessing what I needed to do to get her ult every time but it worked out. I also didn't realise if you go into Vera's 1st ult it eventually times out and you can just do it again each rotation to get Dante QTE. I assumed once I first ulted on her when I swapped back she'd be in the red orb form but just watched a rotation video that was basically the same as what I was doing and they were always just 1st ulting on Vera

I heard that Dante at SSS is very good by getting his weapon once along his CUB, to the point of being able to spam his full SDT twice getting the bar to 600 before DT'ing and then getting it to 1000 from the bonus orbs in matrix before having to switch to another character, also getting his affix secondary elemental boost is easier that Nanami considering his like 99.9% damage reduction when you keep the attack key pressed both in his human form and when you spam on his SDT, so if you're a whale then he's worth getting to SSS+ don't worry about copies of his weapon, there's a challenge mode where you can farm currency to get a generic weapon memory and they refresh on like every two weeks
I've heard from that same dude that he managed to finish that one endurance mode by switching between SSS Dante and SSS Vergil to finish the challenge under 15 minutes
TL;DR: Surprisingly broken enough to hard-carry except on the rogue-lite modes because collab characters are too OP

Yes but also no. Sleener amp is dead, but she's a good example of why you sometimes have to use signature set. She simply doesn't apply her buff without the signature set. [Rover and Lamia ride off. Gary peeks through the door as he see the Awakened Machines aiming at the barn. Gary then comes out and in a last stand shoots some of the soldiers, then gets fatally shot by all of the soldiers. Gary coughs and falls to his knees, filled with bloody holes while Future Nanami holsters her gun and smokes her cigar, while Gary is still breathing, and eventually falls back and dies. Nanami and the other soldiers walk away]

Lamia: Did you hear that? Rover, we have to go back for Pa!

[They ride back and find Gary dead; later, they bury him. The time fasts forward three years later, Rover stands at the same gravesite to bury his mother and wears Gary's hat.]

Rover: You sent him to do your dirty work, then you shot him like a dog!

Future Nanami: And I'll shoot you like one too, you little piece of trash! Now get out of here before I kill you as well!

Rover: I ain't going nowhere old woman!

(Future Nanami drops her shotgun, meaning business, both reach for their pistols in a final showdown. Both draw and Rover shoots his gun first, gunning Future Nanami down. Future Nanami's bullet torn body falls into the river of time. Rover then looks down at his gun, almost looking confused. While Rover has avenged his father's death, he has now put his future in possible peril, "They" will notice this. Rover holsters the gun, pauses for a few seconds, and then walks back up the small hill.)
