Sure thing. It's right next to spawn. And this gigantic cave leads into more caves that go down and down until the limit. It's full of that warden/ancient city audio grass thing. Haven't played MC in years and I wanted a good mountain seed to call home. I'm pretty sure there's a monster spawner inside the mountain too.

here's my contribution to the thread, i finally enclosed my island with a wall, i still need to smooth out corners of the wall, make walkway on top, make pillars on the outside portruding to the bottom, make railing, etc... but the foundation is pretty much laid, i roughly calculated the lenght of the wall and its 5k blocks

Same for me, I try to think what I want to build first and then decide on what biome would be best. For example I wanted to create a sewer base and live under the ground, connecting a bunch of water ways to various overworld farms and such so I wanted the main area to be in a swamp biome so the water in and around my underground sewer looked the part
I've just have to deal with other areas far off being bright/dark blue with biome changes, the real problem for me was most swamp biomes suck ass when it comes to size so I had to keep spamming random worlds on chunkbase till I found a large swamp relatively close to spawn

Adds an extra step in between finding a place to build and actually building. Gets in the way when you're trying to fight mobs, encouraging players to just settle in a couple of locations and do chores instead of spending time exploring and building. Makes the landscape look uglier and ruins the cubic aesthetic. Can't even just ignore it because you need it for seeds to get a farm going so you can eat. A player's first few days in Minecraft are spent mowing the lawn. The only good thing I can say about it is that at least it doesn't naturally regrow.

It took me an hour, but I've finally escaped the icy wasteland. But one problem just lead to another. I needed to find a village to settle down in, and oh my God, this was a pain in my ass. I had to pass up three villages due to them getting too fucked up by the world generation, and had to make dirt huts just to survive the nights (I'm playing on max difficulty). But now my fortune has turned. I've finally found a village that's not too fucked up. Granted there's a huge ass hole in the middle of it, but I can fix that. Now to turn this backwater tribe into something a bit more respectable.

Alright. I've cleaned up the village and filled in that big ass hole that was in the middle of it. Had to rescue a few villagers and a cat that fell down that hole during the clean up operation, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. Now that this place is slightly more livable, I can start my new project. These idiots can't properly defend themselves, so I'm going to make this village the safest in the world, and to do that, I'm going to build a huge glass dome over the village. Nothing will get in or out without my consent. And once that's done, I'm going to convert this place into a more modern looking city. This project is going to take a really long time, but the end result will make the long haul ahead of me worth it.

I don't know what i can do with this area. I was thinking of making an auditorium or some sort of open air theatre.
any ideas what else i could toss into this zone?

server blocks don't have anything to do with the Microsoft side of the API actually, they still use the same system since 1.9.3.

on launch, the client will shoot a request to https://sessionserver.mojang.com/blockedservers, which is a long list of hashes of encoded IP addresses and hostnames of servers. if a server on your server list matches a hash on the list, it blocks all traffic from going there.
