I've been trapped inside a turret a few times lately, and needed it broken to escape.
Losing a squad mate the moment we land about a third of the time is bad.
Homing rupture bugs is a bit bad, but not TOO bad.
I haven't heard if the ballistic shield is still fucked.
I haven't heard if some of the heavy armors are still fucked like Cinderblock.

The napalm EAT can one-shot a fresh dragonroach if you hit a wing, but it also might not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In the kill shot all but a single bomblet detonated on the dragon, while in the non-kill shot all of the bomblets detonated on the dragon, so I really don't know what the difference was between these two shots.

Hellpod optimization is on by default.
Vitality and Stamina are removed from the booster selection, the host can spend 20 super samples to enable both for the rest of the campaign, and both are constantly applied to anyone playing solo.

Emergency Shocks increases reload speed.
The two sample ones are bundled together, the cowboy one now makes headshots easier (bullets get a bigger hit box around them, that only looks for head parts)
Both deployment budget ones are rolled into one.
Helldivers Mobilize has 3 new ones altogether. One that slightly increases movement speed (think the difference the half armors make), One that allows everyone to carry 1 more clip in every weapon, grenade, and stim, and one that increases vehicle and turret health and ammo by some amount.

EATs + Commando give me more than enough coverage and let me clear out a shrieker nest from the distance. Napalm EATs let me kill roaches and give some help with breaches. HMGe is just good.

The Spear already was bad for anything moving faster than a gunship, as evidenced by any unfortunate soul trying to take down Interlopers / Stingrays. Either you get a good lock-on from the front and risk dying, or place your bets and hope it doesnt dust off before the missile hits its half-way point.
Same deal applies with the dragonroaches, where at this point, you're better off using the RR to shoot them down like some vietcong taking potshots at Hueys in vietnam.

My synapses fired off recently and managed to put together that since 1) POIs on 4 and up almost always have static guys on them and also 2) increased scan range means you see enemies from further therefore 1+2=3) you can use the radar booster to easily find all the shit on the map by checking to see if there's a guy standing still on it.

It only took me a year to figure it out, but now all the rare samples and super credits will be mine.

Is there any reason to use the Patriot other than popping a tank or something? Every time I've tried to use it I keep wishing I was in the Emancipator instead, especially with the diggers afoot. Kinda makes me wish that exosuit stomps were coded like an explosion or something so there'd be a reason to stomp. Illuminate arc towers almost kill you, and if they cripple your chest you probably can't react in time. But, you DO survive at full. Barely.
Blitzer fucks you still, can't say for sure it wasn't a headshot or something, kinda hard to get exactly repeatable results, but pretty consistently kills you if you're anywhere near the main body of the spray, the fringes are survivable.
I couldn't get any clean tests of the player arc tower, I'll probably try that more tomorrow, but pretty damn lethal either way.
Didn't try the arc thrower, didn't get an opportunity, but will have one tomorrow.

I'd say, if you're just looking to bully harvesters up close, the dune or killzone armor is "good enough", but based on the blitzer and illuminate tower, actually acting in the tower is probably gonna require the full protection.

Besides the massive slowdown I get on the planet map screen, I THINK I've narrowed most of my performance issues down to a combination of corpse/destroyed terrain buildup, and explosions.
It's always worse on bots than anything else, war striders are the worst of the worst, followed by bile titans. It's always worse in maps with more shit happening, it's always worse if we've set off a lot of reinforcements.
My baseless, speculative guess is there's either a memory leak somewhere, or else things just aren't being culled properly, and then explosions eat up the constricted resources, War Striders being the worst because they're like 20 explosions in sequence

It falls into a weird generalist niche, except it's not even reliable as a generalist weapon. It struggles at any particular task, and desperately claws for viability by being shit at all tasks.
Even if it could safely charge to 100%, it would still be dogshit, the fact it just blows up in people's hands just makes it funny. It's better than the railgun, but that ain't saying much, especially since the railgun just got sodomized by a stinky ass harpoon.
If you want to use it, just use the laser canon. It does literally everything the epoch does, is more reliable as a fallback weapon, and is better for a lot of shit.
The only thing it really does well, is be good for robbing into the belly of a bot dropship, and that's hardly unique to the epoch, but it can do it well.
