The new support has me interested again; how are you meant to properly build D/D/D nowadays? I know yhe BLMR cards are really guood. I played it a lot in duel links but nobody seems to be playing the classics like Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok or Swirl Slime anymore.

Limiting both Razen and Stake was too harsh. Hitting just stake and banning smashers is enough for now. Funnily enough Razen is now a brick if you open it t0 since sue cant summon it now.

IMO yummy wasn't doing anything particularly unfair, it was just way more consistent than the other decks. Felt like they could have just semi limited schooled and everything would be fine.

Completely absurd how dracotail got absolutely nothing. Not even a token winda ban or some shit. If crystron could get hit already then dracotail definitely deserved a hit.

Lunalight should have gotten a hit due to being runner up at worlds.

I agree with all the other changes but they definitely could have done more like hitting barrier and banning floodgates like rivalry and TCBOO.

Here's how this works:
>4 month long tournament, spanning from the 7th of September to the 18th of January (20 rounds), with the Top 4 Finals taking place on the 25th of January
>you can join at any point in time during the duration of the tournament
>a single round will be held each week
>we will be using a very basic leaderboard system, as Challonge doesn't really support something like this too well
>BO3 matches, match wins and byes net you 2 points, match losses net you 1 point and no shows give you nothing
>2 no shows in a row will result in a disqualification
>matchups will be randomized each week, as allowing new players to join all the time messes with any automated round systems
>The randomized matchups will be announced in the thread each Sunday and the matchups can agree on the time and date of the duel during that week
>you are allowed to change decks between rounds
>we will be using the most recent TCG banlist and the PRERELEASE card pool
>300 second turn timers, no reason for a time limit on rounds as it's only 1 round per week
>report scores via DMs

I talk about, interact with and keep up to date on the TCG to stop my interest in the game from plummeting.
I said it years ago, the best part about the game is everything surrounding it, the reveals, the new archetypes, the support for existing decks, the anime (RIP), the single player games (RIP).
The actual act of playing the game is dull when 99% of meta decks have 20+ cards in their deck already pre-assigned before you even get to assembling the archetype you want to use, and those archetypes ratios are usually solved anyway.
I don't play with a meta mindset so I can build decks without all those staples, I don't need to touch or put a single mulcharmy in any of my decks ever.
My decks are beautiful bricky messes full of cards I like the idea of instead of adopting the mindset of having to soullessly distill and remove anything that is even remotely subpar. The modern meta deck is fundamentally just a series of small engines bridging into each other + handtraps.
Then there's the coin flip factor, which I hate. Then the side deck, which I hate.

I assume Asian-English and TCG are seperate because of the different card pools. As AE gets closer and closer to aligning with the OCG, it will eventually get cards that the TCG hasn't got yet. This, in turn, makes it near impossible to allow both TCG and AE properly. You could get your hands on fully English copies of cards that just simply are not legal at all to play for maybe months to years in the future.
No examples of that yet, but its a scenario that can 100% happen considering that AE is OCG-aligned and unless the OCG suddenly decides to keep the TCG in mind when doing AE product releases at all times, its an inevitability

you're not going to see practically any branded dtail pre-DOOD because phrixl has to come out first. without her the only way to access dtails with brafu is titaniklad sending pan, which in turn doesn't start a branded line.
after DOOD roughly speaking you have 2 options: include dracotail in the usual 60c branded pile, and given the premise this is something I have no clue about and I don't even feel like researching, or include the smallest possible branded package possible in dracotail.
as far as this second option is concerned, the smallest you can keep everything to is 2 brafu + 1 albaz + 1 sanctifire dragon in the ED. sanctifire is the only branded fusion that lets you access dracotails and does something without having other branded stuff in the ED. the quick revive effect isn't amazing but you also can't dismiss it. reviving the phrixl you used as material can bounce faimena in hand, reviving mululu/cartesia accesses your fusion plays, lukias can be card advantage and pan/urgula add disruption. if you really felt like it you could even maindeck a retaliating/contact C package, use retaliating as fusion material, prepare contact C in the gy and give it to your opponent at quick speed
