Thank you to the advice yesterday for FA-1-6 heroic, I couldn't really execute it that well so I was flopping with Dololo and Springfieldo. I went back to my fire team and I found a way to nuke the adds and Florence in the first 3 turns that let Vector, QBZ and Meido finish off the last bot in the back during turns 4-5. RiP Captain China your sacrifice was NOT in vain

If heroics is this much trouble for the masses, things won't get better from here will they?
I expect another round of too hard complaints when challenge mode comes out and the enemies are scaled up higher.

GFL1 showers you in resources and free shit, you can comfortably build several echelons of whatever dolls you want from the ~400 available that just get added to the general pool or are made farmable on permanent event maps, they haven't added event limited dolls in years. You're doing it wrong. If you want it to be an exact match you have to select either any 4 items (muzzle) or any 3 items (everything else). Also don't have two different plans for the same item if you only want said item to have one specific spread of stats.

In normal play 5-7 was maybe kind of important back when we had a much smaller roster but by the time Python and P22 were added as limited drops there were more than enough alternatives for normal gameplay unless you were minmaxing for ranking (or later on some particular UX maps but they're a bonus difficulty). Anon, that was for ranking autism. Most of the stages were clearable with "normal" dolls. And even some rankings had an easy mode to get most of the rewards that mattered (equipment/fairy). By the time the super hard stages started appearing we already had QoL like the masks, exchange, career mode, etc.
Though I'll give you event dolls like P22 that were pretty meta because of shields. But that's unavoidable to some extent due to the nature of the game. It's like complaining about Jill, Rico or Angelica.

Alfa was already one of the strongest dolls in the closed betas, that she was nerfed at launch and she fell behind until she had her key and Springfield to crutch on after a year.
191 was incidentally the best single target DPS doll for better part of year 1 when content became focused on bossfights. Due to also being fire's main gimmick enabler, she still sticks around as some mix between semicarry and support who is still irreplaceable, and Sharkry is basically dependent on her existence.

One in my platoon reached really good numbers with Mosina, but that came out of lots of experimentation and autistic minmaxing. She clearly needs more tools.
A second expansion key is a good opportunity for lots of dolls; it could make them competitive, while still letting the promo dolls be the big stars to force spenders into doing their thing.
Also they need to revisit CCs and how they work for bosses. Lots of kits revolve around CC, making them useless for bosses, and while I don't care for bossing it's undeniable that it's the focus of the game right now.

This will be the first survey I leave a positive review of an event in a long time. Having actual level 60 content to do in an event changes everything. Now if only they could get the real story back on track it would be perfect, but that's not really event related l guess so I won't dock them for it yet.

I wanted to try Shevy's new key but unfortunately all of the ice dolls are bad at this event because the Disconnection debuff. Except for Makiatto, who is actually excellent at this event.

For anons struggling this event and who not have wheelchairs to carry them, try using Makiatto if you have her at V1. I know many day 1 players here do.

The Heroic Mode Disconnection debuff makes your dolls deal no damage until the've made one single target attack each turn. Because V1 Makiatto attacks twice with her S1, the 2nd attack does full damage so she can one shot most enemies with it. Then, she does two interceptions that will also deal full damage. She ends up killing 3 enemies every turn if she is decently built and you make use of her interception.

Using Vector on these Heroic stages and she's so underrated for her aoe damage. Enemies bunch up and she just wipes the floor with them. If it weren't for the -80% damage debuff on first attack this skill would have killed all of them without the support attacks. This 4 man team is so fun to field.

Only problem is QJ has to attack once with a targeted damage skill or all her support attacks end up wasted since they still remain debuffed. She's still very nice for enabling Vector's support attacks though. I might try replacing her with Krolik on the upcoming stages, we'll see.
