Blue Archive did this recently, progressing towards a 3month gap between JP and Global. Realtime isn't practical because there's a turnover rate for bulk translation that requires some degree of time buffer. The big benefit of a short delay is that it eliminates the pressure to integrate bugfixes and QoL early, which means you're no longer essentially maintaining 2 separate development environments in parallel.

The major downside is that seasonal events like christmas and summer become out of sync, during the catchup period, but you can 'solve' this by aiming to close the gap down to 1 year and shuffling events during the catchup period so that seasonal events still happen roughly during their designated season.

The Singularity contains a Holy Grail and what is essentially an Anti Holy Grail (distinct from an Unholy Grail which is what Draco carries around). Because of their mutually repellent properties, the singularity became something of a clusterfuck, the grail exploded into fragments, and causing the time of the singularity to break into three discrete instances; day, night, and twilight. The Holy Grail only exists during Day and Night, the Anti Grail only exists at Twilight, and nobody on the day and night sides experiences the sun setting or rising accordingly, the sun just vanishes from one blink to another.
Thankfully, you initially rayshifted into the Twilight section, even if you were ejected into the Day section afterwards, Taigong Wang was left behind and able to basically temporally wayfind to call you into Twilight later, because the Anti Grail was the source of this whole debacle and you need to kill her ass.
The new Pretender is that selfsame Anti Grail, a creation of the greek goddesses of fate, the ephemeral fruit. She's a little retarded and is angry at people for wanting stuff.

Very fun. Having 2-3 suped up NPC archers kind of took the challenge out of dealing with the spawns. No chest bosses meant things could go faster but also took away the tradeoffs of fielding a boss killer with a high party cost versus the rest of the team. Also the fact that there were very few servants, a handful of break bar enemies, and then shadow fodder that just crumbles. There were a lot of good map gimmicks.

I used different teams for night/day and the night maps were easier. Whether that's because I used weaker servants in the day or because the enemies can gang up on you with higher attack I'm not sure.

I think the main flaw is that were was not any pressure to field 2 or even 1 star Servants. You had enough cost for all 4*s or a 5* and a 3*, and some cheap CEs. David, Fuuma, and Ushiwakamaru were the only servants lower than a 4* that I used. I didn't even use Mash, although the Ortinax hurts her in grail front.

NPC Sugitani really stole Cursed Arm's role. I used Blackbeard a lot in the previous grail fronts but I didn't use him at all in this event. I think Cu suffered from the lack of 1v1s like Qin Liangyu, so there was no incentive or opportunity to use him. The maps were probably Saber heavy to shill the NPC archers as well.

For newbies, just unlock the main interludes and events. Those are old stuff but basically free resource and story.

Finish the story first to get all the free unlockable Main Interludes unlocked first by finishing story. Trial Quests are generally not worth it IMO.

The Prison Tower is a hard set of CQs for newbies, so do those later, just not now.
All The Statesmen is where you get your free Bunyan.

Some of the 5* CEs would be worth having early. Chaldea Lunchtime, Mona Lisa, Detective Foumes. Teatime and Bella Lisa are good but only to put on your support lists for your friends, while the three I listed are for yourself. Also Beginning of the Journey is good for your FP gains.

There is also a very specific CE you should make sure not to waste/fuck up (like I did). It is the CBC exchange for...2019? There is a 4* CE called Outrage. It is a CE with Taunt. Make sure you get that specific CE and not any of the others. This is the only "free" Taunt CE you will ever get without spending SQ on super rare rate-ups.
