You have to rely on teammates way more when there are hazards and terrain blocking you and resources are tied to exploring and asking teammates to either grapple up to high places, installing platforms, lighting up caves and keeping bugs off your ass. It goes on sale a lot though I personally wouldn't recommend dumping that much money on something you could bounce off of but steam has a refund option for a reason. Was playing on one of the bug planets we are "ordered' to capture and we cleared the whole map of hives and points of interest. but the moment we tried to go near the extraction it was just 10 minutes of nonstop enemy spawns out of thin air. waves upon waves coming out of the ground, where 4 players, turrets, and backpack glitching grenade spam couldnt keep up with the spawn rate. it wasnt even a crazy difficulty "suicide mission". Ive seen this happen a few times now, but this time we all died. Seems if you arent cheating to infinitely replenish stims to run away, its so unbalanced there is no hope of leaving the mission with samples to upgrade the ship. i know at least 1 retarded Dev wants this to be dark souls, but these sorts of missions arent fun and all i learn is to turn the game off and play something else.

It has to do with how patrols are spawned. Sometimes patrols will spawn all around extraction and a lot of them will just walk off in stupid directions and never encounter you. Sometimes you're too close to the map perimeter and patrols aren't allowed to spawn. But every once in a while the extraction site is placed just right in that there is really only one location for patrols to spawn and their only pathfinding option is to path through your team.

From descriptions given of it, it's basically a large bunker that has been expanding a lot underground. Its reason to exist is being a massive logistical base for SEAF and the Helldivers corps and assist their resupplying when they go to Oushane. Thats it.

Narrowhead should really work more on special structures like this for worlds. Providing them a clear bonus for the war effort or positive visible bonus would actually motivate players to keep them. Shit like Tyranny Park would have probably not just fall again for example. If it had something going of use, beside flavour text.

The Hellmire Outpost should for example give a bonus on attacking and in the future in defending Oushane. It exist just for that. The memorial on Malevon Creek and the exosuits factories on Twien should also give a bonus. But those two not only they don't give anything, they don't even have their own symbol on the map.
