yeah, after a quick lookover all the gun stats it's crazy how high the precision stat is on most SMG's
they are mostly over 30 when your average carbine, AR, and LMG is under 30
maybe I'm a retard but when it comes to precision but I feel like the averages should have LMG either higher than or tied with AR, followed by Carbines, and SMG's last on the precision totem pole

I'm by no means a good player but I enjoy the pvp gameplay and I think I have some tips for you
you don't need insane reaction speed and you don't need to zoom around like a spastic clicking and pressing 500 keys a minute

1. NEVER ENGAGE HEAD ON
do not fight the frontline, do not ego peek, do not go into aiming contests and do nyot be the entry fragger
90% of my kills and 90% of my deaths are from flanks
I never kill somebody unless I caught them by surprise and they have no chance to fight back
I never can fight back against someone holding an angle I was not aware of
those clips you see of people doing insane flicks and winning despite being caught by surprise are not common and not necessary to win in pvp
2. MOVE YOUR ASS
move constantly and always try to find flanks
you got shot by someone? move
you shot someone and failed to kill them? move
your team is getting pounded in point C of cairo? move around and flank enemies
3. MOVE FROM COVER TO COVER
i think this is basic shit and I don't need to tell you about it
4. STOP RELYING ON REACTION SPEED AND AIMING SKILL
those are memes only good for clip farming
winning gunfights in all shooter games does not come down to milisecond reaction speed differences

The problem is that "big" is not a number. Therefore it doesn't qualify as a lie. They said "bigger" compared to the beta maps, which they are.

But my question remains, how big is enough. When map size increases, action is thinned out. Maybe something like Kubra Dam would be cool. It's big but it's also somewhat linear so we don't end up starving for action.

Depends on whether or not they'll revert the weapon mastery XP nerf. It was a measure against cheesy farming servers so it has no reason to exist in normal servers with bots.

Really though, half the problem with the map design in 6 isn't that it's small, it's that it's too linear. Way too often it's a case of spawns at either end of the map, flags in a line between them. We need more maps where the flags are more perpendicular so you can spread out more while still being on the attack. I know everyone's played Oman at least, you know what I'm talking about.

Firestorm sometimes does feel like the best map if you actually like using tanks.There should be more open, flat maps like it which is why I wouldn't mind them bringing some more BF1942 maps back instead of just Wake every time.
Firestorm is also the worst map for flying though, even though it should be one of the best. Which is purely a problem with overpowered painting and flares being ignored.
This does also create a problem with the number of tanks, in which one team just gangbangs with a bunch of tanks dominating the points, and no way for the enemy team to overcome it as everyone just spawns in a tank and trickles in one at a time. Letting attack choppers and jets actually fuck up the tanks a but instead of getting one-shot by them would make it even better.

Both maps had horrible open areas with absolutely no cover, it was pure suffering as infantry and all you could do was stand in the uncap and hope to god you got in a vehicle before the guy next to you did.

If they're going to remake any BF2 maps it should be the maps that had a good mix of both. Road to Jellybean and Mashtuur City for example.

I got the G36 to level 30ish by working on the last assignment and it finally feels like I can get some mileage out of the weapon/customizing it for what I want. It's pretty decent against helis once you get the high velocity rounds. Don't lock them at max range, let them get a little closer then fire one missile, force them to flare, pepper them with the gun while the flare is up, then lock the second missile.

Jets are tougher since they move a lot faster.
Also the twin barrels don't converge at close range so if you're fighting infantry you may need to aim a bit to the side.
