Im almost about to give up playing WoW again. SO much stuff is not explained, overwhelming or downright annoying. I get dozens of quests offered sending me from this end of the world to that end. It's almost impossible to clean up a questline. Leveling is WAY too fast to get used to any mechanism. My hunter pet suddenly got removed at lvl 10. I lost flying and got shitty flying forced on me. I did a big questline to get a Dalaran hearthstone, then THAT suddenly stopped working. Everything is so complex and phased that I don't think they realise how disorienting all of this is. I have to google the whole time what went wrong this time. Very, very tiring. Sorry for my rant, I am probably not the only post bringing this up. It just feels so alone when the game seems to work against you and the social aspect in-game is long gone.

Guys I just got to lvl 80. Should I do Undermine stuff or skip it and do Karesh questlines? Is there anything I would miss by not doing Undermine?

I was worried that the crystalline radiance gravy train was over, and it kind of is you only make about 300 per enchant now. But the price has just bottomed from 3k to 1k, demand is still kind of strong I had no issue selling like 75 of them this morning.

Literally just cast the group heal it has 2 charges. The problem with disc is that it’s great for high level keys usually but you need raw healing to deal with the idiots in m+ pugs. Passively healing and shit doesn’t cut it, you need full on ER advanced life support triage.

I’d rather never kick ever

The people can interrupt the better, OR reduce the frequency of mobs casting spells that are mandatory interruptions

The Gamescom one got posted as an ad which is why it has twice the views as the cinematic but way less likes, comments, etc. The Deep Dive was a dedicated livestream that skews its numbers compared to stuff like the old Blizzcon videos which were only run on Twitch or PPV and then uploaded later. Look back at the rest of TWW and DF stuff. Cutscenes that were getting over a million views in Legion and BfA now get a couple hundred thousand at most. been playing this game on and off since early tbc so ive seen the game through all of its phases and ups and downs and i dont see how midnight wont be “cata 2.0” for the modern era
the reason why cata was such an event was that it fundamentally changed wow in a way that alienated a huge portion of the original playerbase, the world was remade, spells just randomly flew onto your bars, it was the major shift from the game being an mmorpg to an action mmo
ever since then the game has been on a steady escalation in mechanical complexity vs community efficiency, the so called “arms race”

personally i dont actually hate the idea of a hard reset back down to cata/mop era complexity along with the removal of addons to prevent future escalation, but the reality is that this is what the game has been for the better part of a decade at this point and like i said i dont see the playerbase taking it well just like the original playerbase didnt take the shift from vanilla to mid/late wrath and cata-era design philosophy well
