After watching a dude going through Canto 4, I want to point out, once again, that when Dongbaek dies on Yi Sang's arms, all of the tearful thing's TV thingies change to display that scene on loop. Every single one
We've been told that they show tragedies, things that cause the tearful thing as much sorrow as possible to make it cry non stop. And they've also heavily emplied that they used a version of Yi Sang's mirror to show even more tragedies across all the mirror worlds they could access.
This means that, at that very moment, across the almost infinite mirror worlds K.Corp could access, Dongbaek's dying words while being held in Yi Sang's arms, before turning to flowers, was the biggest tragedy in all of existence for the tearful thing.

I just realized while killing Dongbaek in a mirror dungeon
these people have to kill their friends and sometimes worst enemies

as part of their jobs

Anyone else feel this season really ruined any hope you had for the game? Between cutting BP EGOs, cutting an intervallo, cutting an RR, cutting a walp, rushing the next canto, introducing true limited stuff that affects gameplay, removing everything about the collab, increasing how many seasonal ids we get to capitalize on the week delay, the removal of new free ids/EGOs for reruns, and the lack of any real improvement/gamemode, I just dont really like the direction the game is heading. Seems like its starting to become more and more similar to other gachas.

I've decided to keep trying Ruina. I had previously dropped the game at the Kurokumo reception, but I've started up a new save file.

Regain full light when emotion level goes up
Gain positive emotion coins: on max roll/clash win

The problem is that they don't become that important until way later in the game. Basically, you gain 1 light at turn start. Cards take X amount of light to use, some cards have effects to gain light.
Emotion level is basically just something that increases as the battle progresses. It's kinda like sanity in Limbus. There's positive emotions that you get by doing good and negative ones you get by doing bad. You get abno passives that you'll unlock later on based on the amount of each you have. There are also some cards that get extra effect at 'emotion level X', 'negative emotion level X', things like that

each character on your side has to clash X amount of times to fill the emotion level bar, once the emotion level bar is maxed for EVERYONE on your team, you go to the next emotion level and get to choose your EGOs, some cards have effects with it, the EGOs you get will depend on you getting negative emotions (losing) or getting positive ones (winning)

is just the ammount of energy you use per card, cmon anon that is basic shit, some cards give you extra, you get 1 at the start of the turn, try to not eat it all in one turn unless you are using a bunch of cards to regenerate it

You get emotion coins from winning and losing clashes. Winning clashes give positive emotion coins and losing clashes give negative emotion coins. Both of these coins increase the emotion level. The more positive coins you have, the higher chance of getting positive EGO pages and vice versa. All of your light is regained upon going up an emotion level.
