You see the discourse on social media and it's clearly uncontrollable, and even /v/ can't be swayed no matter how dedicated you are. But here the thread moves so slowly and has so few people here, any single anon can brute force how "everyone" feels about each FF game and what we all can agree SE is doing right or wrong. Not that it actually works here either, but it certainly does explain why several posters here seem far more interested in spending all their time making their enemies sound wrong instead of saying their own opinions and trying to argue their cases. This reinforces the idea there's the "objective truth" we all agree with, and anyone contradicting it is simply wrong. The goal isn't discussion, it's the opposite. It's a shame.

I think the new Dissidia game is basically like a mobile 3v3 MOBA sort of deal. Kinda lame, but I'll probably still give it a shot. Krile is probably god tier, assuming she has a way to reliably accrue Brave so that she can give it to the other 2 teammates. Zidane might also be good since he steals Brave. Prompto might be good too because he can paralyze people at range. Everyone else just seems like different flavors of damage. Gaia buffs and debuffs, but it didn't really seem that impactful in the little snippet. Maybe her slow (or her 50% atk/def buffs) is actually debilitating in the real game. Her own damage didn't seem very good compared to the others though.

Something that I think he gets wrong in his break down of the game, I think the boss HP at the top is both teams. Like, the left side is how much HP (You) have dealt to the boss, and the right side is how much the opposing team has dealt to the boss (or vice versa), and whichever team defeats the boss first wins.

If Vagrant Story and Tactics Ogre, both Matsuno, both Ivalice, are in the filter pastebin as off-topic games that the shitposter likes to mention, then Octopath should be as well.

ivalice is part of Final Fantasy.

It's neat. I liked it both times I played it. It's kinda archaic though. It would probably be better if they remastered it like they did with Tactics, but it's going to be years before we hear about that, if it's ever happening at all.

I've played FF6 T-Edition and Brave New World and want to play another romhack. How's FF6: A Soldier's Contingency? Looks interesting. I think it's a mod from the FF4 Ultima community, which is another good romhack.

Did anyone ever make any kind of patch/mod for this game that lets you not fuck yourself out of 100% and lets you get shit later?

I despise that the ONLY way to play this is with a strategy guide because it's not possible to 100% otherwise with all the minute shit you have to do that can easily be fucked up. OG PS2 or remastered version I don't care.
