Second Life's playerbase is not active enough anymore for this to be realistic. I've found several active communities on SL. None of them are anything I want to be a part of personally but there's furry wrestling, there's group sailing on the weekend, there are grid drives, book clubs, there's SLMCs that seem to be really active and social, RP sims, there's the pony community (which is admittedly niche but they are friendly to outsiders and seem to have a lot of furries hanging out with them)
