Also the "buff" doesn't do anything for reprimand.
The only thing it did was allow the reprimand to two tap hive guards when it could already do this. It has a shorter range to headshot devs. It is ultimately a nerf.

If you can tell me something that it got buffed for I'm all for it. But it loses breakpoints faster than it used to. So this is just a nerf.

Any gun that didn't get a durability buff feels worse. Mostly against bugs but the others too. You can cherry pick that it wasn't *ALL enemies* but you still face hundreds of those enemies in any given high haz mission so fuck you very much everyone using that bad faith argument, it's bullshit.

There's a couple dozen already but I can keep going.

SMGS and ballistic pistols feel worse, that doubled drag on top of the previously already doubled drag feels pretty fucking bad. That's another dozen~ish.

The pineapple still suck but now it has a lot more chance of accidental suicide and team kill potential. Feels pretty bad, Not sure exactly WORSE but I think if you're that pedantic then you can go fuck yourself.

Deadeye feels worse, lost some break points with the durability changes. Diligence too.. Goes for all the DMRs really.

Socom still can't pop devestator heads because the devs are dumbasses that didn't learn from the exact same thing happening a year ago with the anti-tank launchers lossing a damage immediately thanks ot drag and velocity. I'd say again it feels the same but then they went and doubled that drag as already mentioned, so yeah, worse. Plus the further loss of faith in the devs feels bad as a BONUS disappointment I guess!

I thought the MA5C would feel better with a 10 damage increase but it got no durable increase and, well there's already a whole back and forth about it still not being as good as the judi in the last thread, which also feels worse so yeah, shitty times all around

Lasers are just a fucking joke, have been for a while. Cannon might be an exception, but there rest? bleh.

All flame weapons, and to a degree all status weapons thanks to them "Fixing" (but not without something else breaking) the randomized application system without telling anyone.

These now all take slightly too long to kill alpha commanders, hiveguards, warriors, spewers and even hunters.
They genuinely feel way worse than before in a very noticeable way because all enemies get more windows of opportunity to reach you and hit you, while most of these weapons were already slow moving and without CC and now deal even less damage.
Let's not even talk about laser weapons, that have been the literal exact same since launch, with their only buffs being fire DoT, which now has been nerfed. So laser weapons are genuinely in the trash-can.
I don't even feel like going over bots, I have swiggers fatigue.
But basically, fire nerfs here as well for no reason beside "nooo stop killing factory striders so fast by going melee range!!!" When AT weapons can oneshot them from across the map.

Nice list, but I take exception in one regard: bugs slow down in kill time is unavoidable. Bots increase in kill time is completely unnoticeable if you’re a head click diver.
That said I don’t mind warriors being tougher, as they’re more or less the first level of bug that seems like it should be an overt threat meta wise, but are barely even road bumps in practice, so a small buff to them is nice.

Pretty sure the people idling on super earth, who can't be on missions, count towards the % of players needed for liberations. Accoding to the 3rd party app, anyway.

I knew the changes to smgs were going to be nerfs from the moment I saw them, not only by the number, but because I might be the only one who actually uses the variable somewhat regularly.
It had a better rate of fire and damage per hit than any other smg, but still felt less useful in game than an ergo tanked liberator for example, as well as vs other similar options.

Literally for the warp pack. The laser turret is pretty good too, as is the Variable. The Epoch is decent against bugs, but hot dogshit against bots.

Blitzer is great, Sickle is quite good and I get some utility out of the Dagger. Punisher plasma is good too, functions more like a grenade launcher than a shotty.

That said, I should have told you Servants of Freedom instead. Dickle is amazing, Ultimatum is crutch-tier good and armor that blows up and takes enemies with you is nice if you play aggressively. It also has the portable hellbomb, which is never not useful.

The only part of your build that you should compromise for anti-hivelord duty is freeing up one slot to bring Eagle Strafing run. The other highly impactful stratagem is the AC mech, but you should have been bringing that to caves anyway. Everything else that is really good vs the hive lord is some mix of either being shit dealing with cave stuff and/or is vulnerable to being wasted if the hive lord decides to just body slam you first moments after you spawn it. The AC mech is vulnerable to being wasted by being body slammed, but it's worth it since it's actually really fucking useful for the rest of the mission.

Priority #1 is to break one of its armored plates. If you're on foot then you should throw as many strafing runs at the hivelord as you can while spending the rest of your time focusing on keeping the rest of the smaller bugs under control. If you are in the AC mech, you want to concentrate all of your AC fire on a single armor plate. If someone is already spamming AC fire into a plate then concentrate your own fire on the same plate.

Once a plate has been destroyed, then keep throwing strafing runs at it and concentrate fire on the squishy exposed bits. I think technically things like the auto-cannon in flak mode or the HMG have the highest DPS vs the exposed flesh, but it's not worthy compromising your build to bring those for the hive lord. If the flesh is exposed then just keep doing what you were doing and you're close to winning.

I can sort of understand napalm for bottling up bug breaches in areas that are outside or in open areas in caves. I think tesla tower or NEATs is probably the better call most of the time vs predator bugs. NEATs in particular can be called down in open sky parts of the caves to ignite breaches in adjacent chambers.
