My favorite Pokémon YouTuber, who just happens to be the biggest Pokémon YouTuber and VGC player with the most accolades of all time, recently released a video stepping down from public competitions, livestreaming and social media completely. I don't know what JP devs do, knowing they are always years behind the rest of the world in tech but all it took for me was to give it detailed context variable, game functions and code wise (lying about the stats being handholding and kissing instead of creampie and anal). Nowadays AI support for coding can take care of almost everything, included suggesting libraries if it makes the work easier. I'd rather have JP devs using AI support for coding instead of the abysmal dogshit they pull out that was just a simple QOL or a simple menu.

forgot to answer but MZ and MV so what most JP devs use nowadays anyways, you afterwards usually need to finetune the code yourself because unless you are a master at adding all details to context you give it to the assitant something will be off, but still makes it a matter of 1h of work even for someone with 0 knowledge to add something like interactive sex stat menus with multiple heroines tracking, hence why since I got my hands into development for fun myself I always roll my eyes when I see how many of the games I play could have been way better with 1h more of effort put into the game.

It took them 2 years for Vandalism. In like January 2024, 111 said work on the Steam version of Eclipse started so it took them roughly a year and a half for that one. Eclipse was smaller than Vandalism, so I think 2 years sounds about right. Maybe it'll be quicker since it's back on RPGM instead of Unity but it's still gonna be awhile. It also depends on when they get the license and start working on it. They could be working on it already or they might not start for a few months.

Kegani laboratory is a mixed bag, I can't say it's good but I think anyone who is interested in NTR and NTS should experience their games. Game quality varies between each game, but overall, what you can always expect:
Convoluted game systems and menus, lots of exposition dump in the intro, hard netorare with optional netorase, horrific MTL ranging from 1/10 quality to 2/10 quality, exposition dump NPCs break the 4th wall when teaching about the game, wacky ass stories/worldbuilding. And still, there is soul in all his games, a lot of grinding which is something I'm personally attracted to, and very hot NTR/NTS scenes and situations. It has some of the best and some of the worst elements in the market at the same time when it comes to NTR, so it can be really hit or miss.
