I think the cope option is to juice up 1 unit of each element and use off-element supports. Like if you only have 1 wind or 1 earth unit, level them up and then throw like chixia and misty in as supports. That way you can technically push every tower despite not having built teams and considering how strong supports are, it might not even be bad.
