Honestly the BR mode explains everything about how these classes were designed despite them having slightly different abilities between modes. Hell if anything I feel like it's more balanced around than Gauntlet than it is the normal BR, although in that mode Engineer's practically useless because hardly anyone uses the vehicles.

It just feels every conquest match boils down to whose tanks suck less cock and thats it so everyone just takes the one class with AT
It's not even that the tanks are that strong the HE range on most weapons is pitiful
There are just so fucking many of them and they respawn so ducking quickly, they really should be buffed but their number halved, same with the IFV. Then you lock weapons, neuter SMGs at range and then maybe you can get this shit under control

That will also help jets and helis a bit as no longer will there 5 things with guided aimbot missiles at the map at all times.
That and make the target paint persist only as long as someone is aiming it and make it mark them on the map/ui.

You can tell it by BR having an actual big map, lots of content multiplayer doesnt have (like little birds), full building destruction miles ahead of multiplayers (you can actually destroy a skyscraper there), water vehicles, swimming etc. But if they would've announced another bf and then showed battleslopyale DICE would've never recovered from this. Absolutely. The way that the classes interact in the BR is way better, Recon's drone matters far more now, Support providing ammo/heals is a must, Assault's GL is viable and the ladder has more potential for usage with the big ass map (especially for exploits), Engineer you know what it does.
It's like back when people speculated that the Specialists in BF2042 were meant for Hazard Zone or the game's original BR concept that got cancelled, but this time they actually got away with it.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they might make changes to the classes in the base game months later, but after what? They got their money anyway, they could've easily made the class system way better much earlier in development, but it was most likely done so that normalfags get accustomed when they switch from the multiplayer to the BR so that player retention for the battle royale starts out strong.

You're given them during the night raid mission in the campaign. At one point you're told to take out a pax soldier silently as a way to introduce takedowns. I threw a throwing knife instead. Just about the right size for an infantry map. Pretty equal terrain wise for both sides, tanks make a huge impact but there are also generally multiple angles to attack them from, C fights are genuinely enjoyable instead of an annoying slog, fun in every mode, viable for pretty much every infantry playstyle. Closing in on 250 hours and Cairo really only grows on me as time passes whereas every other map I find some inherent flaw or annoyance that bothers me. Like I look at how Liberation would be great if had some kinda tunnel through the mountains instead of funneling everything through C(though the jetnigger in me does love those C clusterfucks) or how Manhattan is fundamentally a great concept of a map but it's ruined by being too small and the lack of destruction meaning that roofniggers have too much impact on control of other parts of the map, especially if their heli has air superiority.

I think they should revert assault to being the medic and support to only resupplying ammo but having lots of cool gadgets.
If not, and if the injector must remain as the main assault gimmick, then:

Yeah, it's funny. You need to score headshots at 200 metres in order to unlock the long-range rifle, but at that range, the heads of the targets are just as large as the reticle on your standard 6x scope. I had to stare up close to see clearly enough (laptop screen). If you want a higher-magnification scope first, you need to grind God knows how many kills on the m2010 beforehand.
And once you unlock the PSR, it comes equipped with a 10x scope, which would have been a much better fit for the damn assignment to begin with.
