What roles are there in this game?
Tank > just be at the frontline to tank damage and take focus from the enemies so your team can do their stuffs
Dmg output > your job is to output as much damage as possible to wear down the enemies. Doesn't matter who you shoot, just keep dealing damage
Assasin > your job is to finish off the enemies, so you need to prioritise which enemy you want to aim and not just shooting the first target in sight
Status effects support > you will be buying mostly things that cc the enemies or annoy them with debuffs
Dps support > not that you're dealing dps, but you want to keep your main dps alive for as long as possible
Any other roles are there in the game?
Also, they are not mutually exclusive, so somebody can adopt multiple roles in different weightage.

I think one of the bigger flaws of Deadlock right now is the jungle. And I don't just mean how boring they are to kill.
When you look at Dota 2, the jungle constantly has something to do. Now part of that is wards, which I doubt will ever come to Deadlock but it's how the jungle camps work.

In Dota, camps spawn EVERY minute, as long as there is no other jungle camps within it's box.
This means there is ALWAYS a reason to be in the jungle. A problem in deadlock right now is how camps spawn based on a timer when they're cleared and for big camps that's 7 whole minutes. At high pre-eternus ranks, it is not uncommon to see the majority of the jungle cleared between the 10-15 minute mark which doesn't give players much to do and importantly not much reason to be in the jungle other than to just hit fucking boxes. This also creates the issue where because there is very little farm on the map the only thing to do is sit in lane or sit near lanes which makes it harder to push objectives or have any type of map awareness because the enemies could be literally anywhere. The medium camps take a 7 whole fucking minutes to respawn when cleared. SEVEN minutes with there just being nothing to do there besides hitting boxes. It's not good to have there nothing to do on the map so often because no jungle. The other problem with howtimers work in Deadlock is that it makes stealing camps WAY more important and impactful in the long term since now the team that had their camps stolen have less ways to catch up. In dota because camps spawn so frequently, the idea of stealing their camps still exist but it's not as severely punishing since there's so many camps and they can also go into your side and steal at the same time

Don't want to get fully into it but I think this is also an issue with deadlock being 6v6 instead of 5v5. There just isn't enough for 6 people to do on the map at all times. This is also without getting to all of the other stuff people can do on the map in dota

When the map is big, and there is no way to know where people will be beyond either showing on the map via waves or making the assumption of where they might be based on what's available on map (camps or urn) then everything becomes too dangerous.
