In the picture, as I kill monsters I get more time. Yet frequently not enough monsters spawn to fill the bar. Is that me being bad, or them just not spawning fast enough?
Also sometimes the bar starts full, and I kill monsters but it doesn't seem to be any different, is it?
I looked on youtube but was only finding crafting stuff with the tree, and not much about the mechanic itself.

they're a lot of fun in the campaign, but I haven't seen any damaging ones that are relevant in the endgame yet, and I don't think there are any since they don't scale off any of your stats. the utility ones can be great tho. the pyre gives you free "cover enemies in ash" aoe pillars of flame on attack to make them take 20% more fire damage. and since shield charge procs it, it's very good for pretty much every fire build.

I managed to start beating them around act 8, Earthshatter Berserker, but it needed a good layout, something like the Lunaris Temple where it spawns in the middle of a massive empty room, or the Aquaducts, where it spawns in an area where I can just do a lap.
