Also this is wrong, Faust was the primary focus. Don was mostly just there like the other sinners until the very end.
Don has about ~130 lines (which is more than most Sinners, but she's inherently talkative). Faust gets about twice as many, even more if you include her name being mentioned.
The intervallo is ultimately about Faust being forced to play her role without being fed information.
