Why are people "anti small maps"? It seems like the smaller maps to medium maps are the ideal sizes. The larger maps feel ass sometimes because its hard to identify a "front line" so to speak. The healing is only part of it. Support also has infinite ammo, can instantly revive teammates, and is the only class with smoke grenades. They also need to go back to making maps for specific modes. If they're doing two new maps per season then they should make one specifically for conquest/escalation (big and wide) with an adapted rush/breakthrough layout, and one specifically for rush/breakthrough (long and narrow) with an adapted conquest/escalation layout. Having a map pool that's 50% good for conquest and 50% good for rush would be better than having one that's 100% mediocre to bad at both.

This is the way to do it.
You can't just throw some squares onto a map and expect a gamemode to work, they need to block out the paths and angles, and have a better spawn director. They have absolutely zero regard for any of that.

The problem is more that the game has both fighters and attack jets. They should've left fighters out entirely. With just the attack jets they could've increased the tkk some and let people have some full kino classic dogfights in between attacking ground vehicles. Most LMGs are supposed to post up, mount cover, and ambush.
You're not supposed to sprint in and engage in CQB with shotguns and SMGs unless you're using the M123.
If you kit the M123k out with a 200 round belt and a bunch of hip fire shit it rips HARD in CQB though.

what is the point of the mobile AA? lockons have a shorter range than the stinger, the projectile speed on every round is dogshit for the most part, and any pilot with half a brain will almost never be hit by a stinger or ground fired anti air missile. on small maps the light rounds you can cause helicopter crashes if you can connect enough rounds but that isnt really satisfying compared to shooting it out of the sky.

At 260 hours my only real issues with the game are paint/MRniggery, drone/sledgehammerniggery, bloom/netcode/hitreg, and shit maps. The cannons are pretty solid against helis and low flying jets once you get the high velocity rounds.
The missiles are alright, it just requires some strategy to catch the pilot without flares ready.
Their trajectory does need work though. When aircraft are turning the missile tries to head them off in order to catch up, which is correct. But sometimes the path it takes to head off the aircraft takes it through the terrain, and the missiles are not coded to avoid the terrain so they just slam straight into it.
Also, even if you don't manage to hit the jet with the missiles, you force him to pop flares and leave the airspace for fear of a second missile.

The default faction skins do at least have some cohesion, like the Americans and Brits are all using the same kit amongst themselves. But this doesn't mean anything when a) the maps aren't sepcifc to subfactions so you can play as anyone as long as its the same main factio and b) even if the maps were divided into subfactions most classes have skins that look nothing like their default kit. Up close it's the same 2 headshots to kill as hollow points.
At medium range it's the same 3 headshots or 2 head+1 body to kill as hollow points.
At long range it does keep the 3 hit headshot kill while hollow points drops to 2 head+2 body, but are you really hitting the head 100% of the time past 75m? Because I'm not.
