while neither of our original arguments, now that it's only 3-4, it lost part of what made it distinct from redshift as an inheritable unique. redshift is 1-4. shooting was 3-5. if you were too far back for redshift at least you could get shooting, and maybe it would propel you ahead of someone and combo into redshift as well. after the patch, that's not possible anymore. redshift will activate first and shooting will be mostly useless.

maybe its better for taiki herself. Now she can inherit redshift and it will trigger at the old activation point for the 7 worsened tracks and shooting works for the 7 buffed tracks giving her overall greater coverage. maybe its a nerf in a vacuum and a buff once you add in all the other factors at play.
