There's extra attack Beryl. epiphany on one of her card turn it into passive that, the more you hold her [Retain] in your hand, the more you shoot at the end of your turn.
And there's also a card that generate [Retain] card
And you can also duplicate the passive cards or [Retain] generation cards

having 5 retain cards in your hand and 3 passives will make you shoot 15 times, 150% ATK each. there's also equipment and memory fragment that can increase the damage itself

The longer the fight goes, the more you shoot until your hand is full. Your retain cards also grow damage by itself, which you can use to close the fight.
This is probably the closest thing to a ramping deck.

I used to hate random subs until I played Arknights.
In that game, every character is just a fixed number.
You place the right characters at the right spot at the right time and you will clear the stage.
Meaning there is nothing you can do to improve the characters you love other than shelling out cash for dupes.
I think CZN is picking the right approach, where you can get the correct main stats and subs decently easy, but the little differences between subs (+0.1, -0.1) makes hypermaxing your favorite waifu possible.
