Does it get better after It's my Own Invention, or should I just drop it? Down the Rabbit Hole showed a lot of promise even in its first half. I found it engaging enough to keep going, but the third chapter was a complete let-down. Watching the main character lose his marbles and get more and more deranged with every passing moment was interesting for a short while, but it quickly got repetitive and rather tiresome. Meandering digressions on every corner don't help either. Does it pick up the pace eventually, or is it better to quit now and move on?

One route down, four more to go. I thought Riho's route was incredibly weak. Her personal issues and the central theme of her story just didn't seem to click in with me, like as if the execution and pacing wasn't particularly enough to grip me. I'm going in with similar expectations on the rest of the routes, but it did give me some motivation to continue onward because some of the other characters are starting to look a little more interesting the further I get to know them.
