The only silver lining on disc banners is that the 120 pity does carry over while the spark pity on the character banner does not.

In terms of raw efficiency, sparking to 120 on a character banner is luckier than hitting and resetting pity at 80-119 even though you would and should still go for the spark claim if you reset pity at like 115 or something.The least efficient result in trekker gacha is probably hitting after 80 and stopping as you're losing over half a pity's worth of spark buildup, but because of the stingy income you probably should still just stop when you hit unless you REALLY want dupes. Like pic related is a staff user, and you gotta take the char with you to beat up her shadow to begin with, so when the pledges ask for 3 or more staff wielders, you make a staff team and try your best. You could also mix and match staff/earth, but that'd be awful here.

The game is weird, that's for sure, and I doubt anyone would run a new gacha like this these days, but I do appreciate it still existing with its 8.5 years of age. But I absolutely love static challenges you can do whenever you are ready. And the game is full of those. Some hidden, some obvious.
