Pretty much any legendary beats out an exotic HC for pvp with how much feel you get from mods and extra shit you can factor in. Ace is still pretty plug and play, Sunshot if you're actually hacking since it's always been good just not as much AA. He gave me prescription for ear antibiotics that I had to use on both ears (something about paired organs that tend to catch the same issue both if one is affected), and that problem was cleared up in a week or two of medication. That's a nasty thing since it leaves you vulnerable to recurring infections if you are not careful, and can be potentially fatal if the infection is not treated, but it can be easily fixed or even prevented if you catch it in early stages. I wonder what happened to him if his doctor can't figure out what to do.

Raid and dungeon loot is shit, the new exotics you can just buy later from xur, there's zero reason to grind any higher for T5's after getting a few full sets during solstice. There's zero fun or worthwhile endgame content right now. Pinnacle weapons at least gave you something to grind for, but even those after getting sunset long ago, are now purchaseable for any scrub. The reality the player base actually went down when the game dropped to the almost mostly complete cheapest deal of larger portions of bundle content is a pretty eyeopening of the situation. A lot of people can very much whole heartedly say, why the fuck should I bother when the majority of this content is basically squatted in terms of functionality and if I'm going in with no other people, my options are low to even find anybody to play it with. People returning ask about the game and it's tough to really say anything positive other than, well they fixed some basic bitch QOL stuff that should've been in the launch of the game and tons of things aren't in the new system. Even as we round off 1 DLC down into this new era of the game, it's still surprising just how little is in the game and the focuses are so narrowed down options wise. I think people still playing could get that when they said 1 less raid and dungeon it'd be the game slowing down a little, but it's shocking how Ass and Iron barely qualifies as anything, and even just first half Reclamation, is kinda ordinary phoned in for a DLC with a campaign. We have spent more time with Bungie trying to win people back than we've had really coherent functional points of Destiny, and this includes downswings after good points.

Maybe it's just my inescapable CRPG autism, but the biggest thing that always rubbed me the wrong way with Destiny was Bungie constantly leaving everything to vibes and marketing, and not having much in the way of substance for how the game is played. Not to say it was ever pitched as some rigid traditional RPG and the FPS aspect would have agency stripped, but more often than not it feels like Bungie never really had a set idea of how to pilot their own game and it's where we get so many exotics and playstyles that are gimmicks because, who gives a shit you dropped an ice crystal on an add that you were done fighting and long ran past. I feel like this got highlighted with the Watchable Content where the "challenge of Destiny" just was ok now you go slower and everything basically kills you in one or two hits and has a ton of health. Lastly it's where I see Marathon flopping, Bungie are terrible rules and systems nerds and you need to have things make a lot of sense and work in unison to have a successful loop and reason to engage.

I don't give a shit about their rewards because the character doesn't evolve based on the gear they equip, and no one is interested in this game anymore, so there's no glory or ego trip in farming cosmetics.
