Eishin Flash is one of the more annoying Umas to level, wanted to try to get her into the next cup just to see if I could get around the Mile problem. The career went surprisingly easy, only problem I ran into was Power being as high as it should be. It's a real pity, I didn't get nearly as many speed rainbows as I wanted. This is the first of a few, but it's nice to know that it's much more accessible than I thought it was.

I don't think I matched against a single uma I would categorize as minmaxxed. Some of the ratings were minmaxxed sure, but those umas were often complete trash: subpar stats + one billion skills. This may be a medium/long distance quirk, but my umas with better stats and only 3-4 skills dominated the opposition. Oftentimes the opponents had something like -100/-200/-200 stats than my trio. This was a constant throughout the entire CM, even finals.

Because of the points above, all races amounted to little more than "can I get a clean sweep this time or not?" Stomping unfortunate fodder running multiple 0LB SR cards grows old rather quickly. I was just playing the villain for these poor folk 40 times a day. The carats were okay (a bit over 1600 I believe), which would be equivalent to my CM3 win rate + 3rd place in finals A.
I don't blame anyone not wanting to go through the mental torture that is preparing good aces for Graded, but by God playing Open was a miserable experience.

I stopped Open after Cancer was done, because of two reasons.
One, getting on that threshold of B+ without going over, even with the calculator, was too autistic for me and in that prep, I inadvertently made good parents to make Leo Graded and have a chance 2nd in Group A so I'm learning something, at least. It's also far easier to watch big number go bigger. Two, you're prioritizing speed to actually be fast and stamina to survive the track, and there'd be a chance you'd sacrifice wit. There's a reason why Open relies on stats over abilities, because running umas with less than 500 wit and especially 400 is a shit experience if they need to use them, and statmogging alone is kind of lame to me.

Team names are if you are playing as the corresponding uma, or you have them in your deck. They lead to a gold ability you can get but ONLY if you win the final Unity Cup matc.. Even if you won the other Unity Cup matches, if you lose the last one, you still get a cool title maybe, but you don't get the ability.
9 times out of 10, you're going with the basic name because No Stopping Me! is getting a buff to be less annoying to proc after the 11th. You only get Rice's Cooldown if you're doing long tracks or the other ones for Team Trials.
